About the class

How inflation and interest affect your money, what equity, debt and gold are, how mutual funds and index funds work, how to think about risk, the basics of costs and tax, and common mistakes. See the full outline.

Do I need money invested to join?

No. You don't need a demat account, an app or any investments to take part.

Advice and safety

Is the class investment advice?

No. It is education only. We explain how things work so you can make your own decisions.

Do you recommend stocks?

No. We do not name individual stocks, we don't name funds to buy, and we don't make calls on the market.

Can I lose money investing?

Yes. All investing carries risk, including loss of capital. Anyone who says otherwise is a warning sign.

Can you look at my portfolio in the class?

No. The class stays general, because looking at your own investments would be personal advice. We can teach you how to review it yourself. For a private look at your situation, see the 1-1 sessions.

How do I spot an investment scam?

Be careful if anyone promises guaranteed or very high returns, rushes you to decide, asks you to pay into a personal account, or asks for your OTP, password or UPI PIN.

We will never do any of these.

1-1 sessions

What is the 1-1 session, and what does it cost?

A private video session to look at your situation with a professional's eye, followed by a short written summary. It costs ₹3,000. 1-1 sessions open soon; you can register your interest.

Unlike the class, the 1-1 session focuses on personal advice for your own situation. It lasts one hour, with our founder, a CFA Charterholder. Feel free to ask anything.

How do you choose what to teach?

We start with the questions first-time investors ask most, then explain the idea underneath each one.
